Summary of Specifications:
The City of Saginaw is requesting proposals from experienced contractors capable of providing a state-of-the-art surveillance camera system which will be deployed in a target area of the City of Saginaw. 

The City of Saginaw has an alarming rate of crime throughout the City and especially in these target areas. As a result there is increasing apprehension on the part of citizens, busineses and visitors regarding their safety in these areas. The City of Saginaw is pursuing options for reducing or eliminating crime in these arteas while insuring the safety of the public and property. Serveral businesses in the targeted areas have invested and installed surveillance cameras but these lack clarity and are of minimum value during Saginaw Police Department efforts to solve crimes committed in this area. Prime contractors responding to the Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be experienced in the deployment of surveillance camera systems. Proposals are due to the Department of technical Services, 1435 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601, no later than 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2010.
