ITB-04-050 - 2004 Tree Planting

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide tree planting services. Lot I is for planting 2” caliper balled and burlapped trees in the city’s road right-of-ways. Lot II is for planting 2” caliper trees balled and burlapped trees for our regular fall tree planting program at designated properties. The city will purchase and store these trees at a central location within Southfield. The contractor will load trees from our holding area, transport and plant the trees at designated addresses throughout the city. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract and provide bonds and insurance acceptable to the City. Samples of these requirements have been provided for your review. 

Companies will be required to furnish all necessary labor, machines tools, equipment and other means to plant trees listed as part of this contract under the terms and conditions contained herein.
