The City of Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan, will receive bids electronically up to 11:00 AM, Local
Time on 2/29/2024 for the DPW Generator Project.
This project generally includes the following:
• Project to provide a new generator for the DPW facility, including all equipment to connect to
existing equipment as indicated.
• Associated site work including pavement and concrete utility pads for new equipment.
The Drawings and Specifications under which work is to be done may be obtained through the Bidnet Direct
website at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn on or after 2/5/2024. All vendors, including Minority (MBE),
Women (WBE) and Disadvantaged (DBE) Business Enterprise contractors, subcontractors, and
material suppliers are encouraged to bid on this City of Southfield construction project.
There will be a Mandary pre-bid walk-through on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the
City of Southfield DPW Building located at 25501 Clara Lane, Southfield, MI 48034.
An e-bond payable to the City of Southfield for a sum not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the
Proposal shall be required with each Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory
performance, labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds in the amount of 100% of the
project.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the proposals. No
bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar
days.
