Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to build emergency medical care vehicles. The cab and chassis selected for these vehicles, a 2006 Chevrolet model CC4V042, has already been purchased by the City of Southfield. A copy of the specifications has been included in the document for your review. This specification covers a new commercially produced emergency medical care vehicles. This vehicle shall be in accordance with the Ambulance Design Criteria of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, United States Department of Transportation Washington, District of Columbia. This specification is based on current KKK - A1822 - E revision. It is the intent of the city to purchase vehicles that are professionally engineered and designed.
