Summary of Specifications:
This request for proposals covers contract labor and service for HVAC Controls work in the City of Southfield. The City's Facilities Maintenance Department maintains the physical plant in 52 buildings (864,000 square feet total). The City has three staff Mechanics, and is looking for an HVAC Controls Contractor who has a minimum of five (5) years contract experience and who has sufficient permanent staff to provide emergency repairs and new construction as the needs of the City dictate. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and services required by the manager of Physical Plant Maintenance/Facilities Maintenance or his/her designate to complete the service and emergency work as needed and subject to the conditions of the specifications as given to the Contractor.
