Summary of Specifications:
HVAC Upgrade Project, DPW Building, requiring the following work: 1. Fence and gate for contractor staging area. 2. New steel framing and reinforcing to support new make-up air unit and infra-red heaters. 3. New maintenance platform with ladder access for new make-up air unit. 4. Miscellaneous painting shall be provided. 5. Disconnect, remove and replace one (1) existing direct gas fired makeup air unit with a new indirect gas fired make-up air unit. 6. Disconnect, remove and replace three (3) existing direct gas fired make-up air units with direct outside air intake openings with motorized dampers. 7. Indirect gas fired infra-red heating system for 75% of vehicle storage garage 32 (21 units required). 8. Indirect gas fired heating system for General Storage areas 1 and 2 (5 units required). 9. Gas piping modifications as required to accommodate new indirect gas fired heating systems. 10. Fire suppression system modifications as required to accommodate new indirect gas fired make-up air unit. 11. Disconnect and remove existing make-up air unit controls. 12. New packaged controls for new make-up air unit. 13. CO and NO2 monitoring and controls for vehicle storage garage 32. 14. Rework conduit serving existing make-up air unit to accommodate new make-up air unit. 15. Provide alternates for: a. New feeders for mau-1 in existing conduit. b. New feeders for Exhaust Fans (EF) – 2 & 4 in existing conduit.
