Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield, Oakland County, Michigan, will receive bids at the office of the City Clerk, 26000 Evergreen Road, P.O. Box 2055, Southfield, Michigan, 48037-2055 up to 10:30 a.m., and Local Time on September 10, 2013,for the Inglenook Park Parking Lot Storm Water Improvement Project requiring the following work: 1. Mobilization 2. Rehabilition of existing paved parking lot 3. Installation of permeable paver parking lot and accessories 4. Site restoration
The Drawings and Specifications under which work is to be done are on file and may be examined at the Purchasing Department, City of Southfield, 26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield, Michigan.
Drawings and Specifications may be obtained on August 15, 2013, 1pm, electronically at Builders Exchange, Dodge, or Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) or at the Purchasing Department, 26000 Evergreen Road, Southfield, Michigan. A portion of this project is funded by storm water grant funds under the Rouge River National Wet Weather Demonstration Project; the project will be subject to the conditions of the Grant. There is a Minority (MBE) contractor’s participation grant requirement of 4% and a Women (WBE) contractor’s participation grant requirement of 6% for the Storm Water Improvements aspect of this construction project.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 22, 2013, 10:00 am at the site. The meeting will be held at the Inglenook Park Parking Lot located on Twelve Mile Road (east of Lahser and west of Evergreen), City of Southfield 48076.
