Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield has an immediate need for Network Engineering services. The Network Engineer will be expected to do, but not limited to, the following services:

ƒ® Augment the existing Technology Services Staff.

ƒ® Provide technical expertise with new technology and existing infrastructure. (i.e. Wireless security, Altiris, etc.)

ƒ® Solid understanding of SAN, NAS and how they work with other networking components include BackupExec software.

ƒ® Provide advanced technical expertise with regard to all Microsoft products (Group Policy, SMS, AD, Exchange 2008, SQL 2005, Windows Server 2003 /2008, etc.)

ƒ® Ability to assist with Cisco VoIP environment as well as Cisco switches and routers.

ƒ® Provide day-to-day technical support for internal staff if assistance is required.
