Summary of Specifications:
The work consists of the installation of concrete pads retaining wall(s), bench and trash receptacle installations within existing municipally owned and private property. The Project Area for the implementation consists of seven (7) areas within the rights-of-way. Four locations are along Civic Centre Drive from the intersection of the John C. Lodge continuing east terminating at Evergreen Road in Southfield. All four of these locations are within the City ROW. Location A encroaches onto private property and will require authorization prior to construction. Two additional locations (Locations C and C.1) will require retaining walls and are optional subject to pricing. The remaining three locations are located on the north side of Ten Mile from the John C. Lodge to WXYZ Drive. Two of these locations (Locations D and F) will require a Road Commission of Oakland County permit. The orientation and placement of all benches and trash receptacles are subject to the City Planner. The Planner’s sign off is required prior to installation. The anticipated project start date is June 17, 2013. The substantial completion date for construction and restoration of the project is July 15, 2013. The final completion date shall be on or before July 22, 2013.
