SOQ-16-005 - Professional Development Team for Former Northland Mall Site

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield, is seeking a professional development team to create a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly mixed-use, sustainable phased development plan, including green infrastructure, for the 125 acre project area within the Southfield Downtown Development District project site (formally Northland Mall). 

The City is currently accepting qualification statements for the purpose of hiring a multi-discipline professional development team. The multi-discipline professional development team may include, but not be limited to: urban designers, planners, architects, landscape architects, public engagement specialists, engineers, market researchers, marketing and branding consultants, real estate specialists, etc. Evaluations, studies, advice and recommendations on an ongoing basis may also be requested at a future date. 

The successful lead consultant of the professional team will be required to enter into a contract with and provide insurance acceptable to the City of Southfield per the enclosed documents.
