Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield, Michigan intends to contract with a professional lobbyist firm to represent the City of Southfield in legislation and in policy level governmental decisions made on the county, state and federal levels, as well as with administrative agencies.

The purpose of acquiring lobbyist services for the City is to provide comprehensive, proactive, and effective lobbying, monitor legislation and external policy-making, and assist with government relations that will advance the interests of the City.

The contract will begin approximately January 2, 2007 and continue for a one (1) year period. It may be renewed for up to two (2) additional one year periods. This services provided under this contract may be covered under the City’s Living Wage Ordinance.
