RFP-07-000059 - Psychological Exams - Public Safety Employees

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide pre-employment psychological assessments and recommendations for Public Safety employees. 



Recommendations for these applicants should be based on current ability to perform the essential functions of the job, not on the predictive nature of the assessment tests. Required psychological services also include employee Duty Fitness evaluations as well as Critical Incident Debriefings following particularly traumatic incidents. Occasionally, evaluations may also be requested on non-public safety employees/applicants. 



The City expects selected service provider will submit clearly-articulated conclusions which can be relied upon as an integral part of the selection/decision-making process. The service provider is expected to conform to the highest professional standards. In addition, the City places a high value on responsiveness, flexibility, and accessibility in its service providers.
