Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is soliciting bids from qualified companies to provide snow removal services on an emergency basis for the 2008-09 season (November 15, 2008 through April 15, 2009).

The City uses standby contractors on an as-needed basis only; city employees retain primary responsibility for providing this service. There is no guarantee that this contract will be activated. Should it be necessary, this work will be performed on local and residential roads only, as directed by the Deputy Director of Public Works or his designee.
