Summary of Specifications:
The City of Southfield is soliciting bids from qualified companies to provide snow removal services on an emergency basis for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons (approximately November 15th through April 15th).

The City uses standby contractors on an as-needed basis only; city employees retain primary responsibility for providing this service. There is no guarantee that this contract will be activated. Should it be necessary, this work will be performed on local and residential roads only, as directed by the Deputy Director of Public Works or his designee.

The City reserves the right to split the total award if it is deemed to be in our best interest. Awards will be based on unit cost and overall experience.
