The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Southgate, Michigan desires to have an obstacle course play feature installed at Police Aux/Mulberry Park located on Mulberry Street between Dix-Toledo Road and Northline Road (approximately 13120 Mulberry Street). The proposal is to include all installation and equipment with appropriate engineered wood fiber surfacing. The City is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified recreation equipment design/build firm or team (Contractor) to produce a conceptual design, final design and construction documents and construction of a non-supervised public park.
Suppliers should base their playground equipment designs on meeting all accessibility and safety standards as well as the guidelines & specifications listed in this RFP. Quality of equipment components, quality of design, play value, cost, and appropriateness to location and target demographic must be taken into consideration in the design of the play system
