The City of Southgate Police Department is seeking bids for the de-commission, demolition, and lead abatement cleanout our existing indoor gun range. This project will involve removing bullet trap system, lead abatement and cleaning out the range area, and the removal and replacement of the current HVAC system. Bids will be due on March 20th, 2023 in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

- Scope of Work
The City of Southgate is seeking a company to decommission our current police gun range. This will require the removal of our bullet trap system, lead abatement, cleaning, and removal and replacement of our HVAC system.
- Technical Requirements
SECTION 1 – GENERAL INFORMATION
SCOPE AND PURPOSE
This project is located at the Southgate Police Department and consists of the removal of our bullet trap system, cleaning the range – lead abatement, and the removal and replacement of our current HVAC system. The services will require prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act for Wayne County, Michigan for all proposals of more than $50,000.
We will open the range for any proposal bidders seeking to come in and see the scope of the project, get dimensions, and ascertain full project scope. The range space will be available for walk through on March 13th, 2023 from 0800-1200hrs.
Contract Award
The City of Southgate reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any information found therein.
