Summary of Specifications:
The City of St. Clair Shores Civic Arena has identified multiple bleachers that need to be inspected, repaired and retrofitted for safety. The successful proposer shall provide all planning, equipment, labor, materials and site work for the safe refurbishing of existing bleachers in the Gardens Arena and the Mark Wells Arena's. Please include separate pricing for the removal and disposal of nine sections of bleachers identified in the RFP. All work shall be performed in a professional manner and shall be in compliance with all City, State and Federal regulations. Documentation shall be provided that the designed retrofit meets or exceeds the Consumer Product Safety Commission's "Guidelines for Retrofitting Bleachers" and the ICC/ANSI Standards. There is a non-mandatory pre-bid walk through at Civic Arena 20000 Stephens Road, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 of the Gardens Arena and the Mark Wells Arena on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:30am. Sealed proposals will be accepted until 10:30am local time on TUESDAY, April 19, 2016 at the City of St. Clair Shores, 27600 Jefferson Circle Dr., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081 Attention CITY CLERK, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
