Summary of Specifications:
The City of St. Clair Shores is interested in leasing or purchasing a new fleet of golf carts for St. Clair Shores Golf Club. In addition, the city would like additional proposals for the lease/purchase of two (2) four passenger gas powered carts and one (1) gas powered light duty utility cart. The City is requesting each bidder provide the following purchase/lease scenarios for the City’s consideration: • Fair Market Value Lease of (75) New 48 Volt Electric Golf Carts for both four (4) and Five (5) year periods • Purchase of (75) New 48 Volt Electric Golf Carts • Fair Market Value Lease two (2) gas powered carts for both four (4) and five (5) years • Lease to own for two (2) gas powered carts and one (1) gas powered light duty utility cart for both four (4) and five (5) years with $1.00 buyout. • Purchase of two (2) gas powered carts and one (1) gas powered light duty utility cart. Include with each option the proposed fleet trade-in allowance. St. Clair Shores Golf Club will be trading in Club Car Precedent 48 Volt electric carts with chargers. Model years; 2006 (25), 2007 (25), 2008 (25). Total number of carts for trade will be (75). Five (5) carts received new batteries in 2012, Sixty-seven (67) in 2013, Two (2) in 2014 and One (1) in 2015. Trade in values must be listed both as a unit value and total value on proposal sheets.
