JANUARY 11, 2010 You are invited to submit a BID for rehabilitation work to be completed for: CITY OF ST CLAIR SHORES – FAMILY RENTAL HOUSE SITE ADDRESS: 22335 COLONY ST CLAIR SHORES MI 48080 Bids must be taken to the City of St. Clair Shores, 27600 Jefferson Circle Drive, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, CITY CLERK’S OFFICE no later than TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 2010, 10 A.M. The bids will be opened at the City of St. Clair Shores, Community Development Conference Room, at which time and place all bids will be opened. Homeowners and contractors are welcome to be present. Bids for said work, which have been submitted, shall not be withdrawn after the time set for opening of bids. All bidders will be notified of the results. Each bidder should make an appointment with the homeowner to make on-site inspection and fully acquaint themselves with the proposed work to be done. If the bidder does not make an on-site inspection, the City will not be responsible for any misinterpretations of the job specifications. Since house is vacant, pre-bid inspection is set for MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 2010, 10 AM. All bids must be submitted on forms supplied by the City of St. Clair Shores. Special conditions, which may be unforeseen, may be made or included in the bid form by the bidder. Addendum and change orders may be considered based upon inspection and written agreement with the Rehabilitation Coordinator and the Homeowner(s). The bid shall be enclosed in envelopes which shall be sealed and clearly labeled with the words "Rehabilitation Bid, contractor’s name, homeowner’s name, homeowner’s address, and due date and time of bid," in order to guard against premature opening of the bid. The City may consider as irregular any bid on which there is an alteration of, or departure from the bid form hereto attached, and at its option may reject the same. Include all permit fees in bid.
