Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the construction of the Baumgartner Park Restroom Facility ADA Accessibility Upgrades will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Sterling Heights, until 2:30 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 beginning at 2:30 p.m. local time. This is a mandatory meeting, prospective bidders must attend. Bids will not be received or considered from parties that were not represented at the Pre-Bid Meeting. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Baumgartner Park Restroom Facility to allow prospective bidders an opportunity to view the building interior. Copies of Plans and Specifications and Proposal Forms shall be available on or after February 15, 2011 at the offices of Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 555 Hulet Drive, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48302 0360. A non-refundable payment of forty-five ($45.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, payable to “Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc.” will be required for each set of Drawings and Specifications. Drawings and Specifications can be shipped by U.P.S. ground for a shipping and handling charge of Ten ($10.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, non-refundable, to Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. The Bidder is advised that to submit a bid on this project, the Bidder must have purchased a set of Plans and Specifications from Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. There are Federal Requirements relating to the Davis-Bacon Act that all contractors must comply to, and proof of a valid DUNS number and Central Contractor Registration is also required.
