ITB-SH06-CP06_130 - City Project #06-130: 19 Mile Reconstruction, Schoenherr to Saal Rd

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Sterling Heights is accepting sealed bids for the reconstruction of 19 Mile Road between Schoenherr Road and Saal Road in the Office of the City Clerk, 40555 Utica Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. 

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to reconstruct approximately 1800 linear feet of the existing 2-lane asphalt pavement with widening to a 5-lane asphalt pavement including installation of 7” concrete curb and gutter. The existing asphalt pavement will be pulverized, graded for use as a base material, and capped with 3.5 inches of asphalt. The existing concrete widening will be removed. Work also consists of installing approximately 1200 linear feet of 12” and 18” storm sewer and installing approximately 20 catch basins. Also included is other associated work as itemized in the proposal.
