Summary of Specifications:
The City of Sterling Heights is accepting sealed bids for a DPW Replacement Fuel Dispensing System, City Project #15-275. The work includes the removal and replacement of the underground fuel storage tanks and waste oil tank at the DPW Facility in the City of Sterling Heights. Included with the underground tanks replacement is the replacement of the fuel dispensers including a new built in card reader/keypad access system for using the dispensers and inventory reconciliation system, the installation of a new remote fill station for the underground fuel tanks, the replacement of the tank monitoring equipment and the complete replacement of all associated underground piping as shown in the plans and specifications. Copies of Plans and Specifications and Proposal Forms shall be available on or after November 9, 2015 at the offices of Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 555 Hulet Drive, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48302 0360. A non-refundable payment of Forty-Seven ($47.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, payable to “Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc.” will be required for each set of Drawings and Specifications. Drawings and Specifications can be shipped by U.P.S. ground for a shipping and handling charge of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, non-refundable, to Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 beginning at 1:00 p.m. local time. This is a voluntary meeting, but prospective bidders are encouraged to attend to see the conditions under which the work will be completed. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the City of Sterling Heights Department of Public Works facility located at 7200 Eighteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48314.
