The City of Sterling Heights, Michigan as the lead administrative agency for the City of Sterling Heights Local Development Financing Authority is accepting sealed bids for MACOMB TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT CENTER INTERIOR RENOVATIONS (6633 18 MILE ROAD) until TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2011, at 2:30 P.M. in the Office of the City Clerk, 40555 Utica Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00 A.M. on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15, 2011 at 6633 18 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, Michigan 48314. The work consists of interior renovations to the building located at 6633 Eighteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan. General architectural work includes demolition of existing walls, plumbing fixtures and similar items, construction of new infill walls, new restrooms, painting, flooring, hardware, signage and cleaning. Electrical work includes installation of new power transformers, electrical circuits, systems furniture power, voice and data wiring, energy control switches and alarm/security systems. Plumbing includes sanitary, supply piping and fixtures for two new restrooms. Mechanical work includes ductwork modifications for exhaust fans.
