Summary of Specifications:
The City of Sterling Heights is seeking sealed bids to replace the lighting at the Department of Public Works Office and Garage area located at 7200 18 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48314. Pre-Bid Meeting: There will be a Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting for all interested vendors on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. to discuss and distribute the Bid Form that must be used when submitting your bid. All interested parties must attend this meeting. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Department of Public Works facility located at 7200 18 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48314 ( ½ mile west of Van Dyke. This project is financed in part by the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grants Program. Federal Labor Standards Provisions included in this bid shall apply. The contractor must comply with Davis Bacon Act, July 2, 1964 (title 40s 276A), the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, September 28, 1965, No.11246 as amended by 11375, all US DOL regulations and standards, Title 29, 1, 3 and 5, and Title 18 U.S.C. Section 874 known as the “Anti-Kickback Act”, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, and the Federal Labor Standards Provisions (HUD-form 4010).
