Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals for the construction of the Richard J. Notte City Center Improvements – Phase I will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Sterling Heights, until 2:30 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. The work includes a variety of site improvements at the Richard J. Notte City Center in the City of Sterling Heights. Included in the improvements concrete parking lot and sidewalk removal and replacement, new concrete parking lot, concrete and modular block retaining wall removal and replacement, concrete stairway removal and replacement, miscellaneous lighting relocation, storm drainage system modifications, storm drainage pump stations, pump station electrical service and landscaping improvements as shown in the plans and specifications. Copies of Plans and Specifications and Proposal Forms shall be available on or after March 11, 2015 at the offices of Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 555 Hulet Drive, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48302-0360. A non-refundable payment of Forty-Five ($45.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, payable to “Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc.” will be required for each set of Drawings and Specifications. Drawings and Specifications can be shipped by U.P.S. ground for a shipping and handling charge of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars, CHECK ONLY, non-refundable, to Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. Copies of plans and specifications may also be downloaded from the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network website at www.MITN.info There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held on Monday, March 23, 2015 beginning at 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a voluntary meeting, but prospective bidders are encouraged to attend to see the conditions under which the work will be completed. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held in City Council Chambers at the City of Sterling Heights City Hall located at 40555 Utica Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313.
