RFQ-RM-2020-11-02-002 - CDBG Furnace Repalcement

Scope of Work.
The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Furnace. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and prior to beginning work.

20800 Wick – Case #2020-002 Existing Furnace is approximately 4 years old and is good working order. Only reason unit is being removed is to change to an upflow.
Remove existing furnace install new updraft or equal BTU and efficiency size.
Field verify existing furnace size, dimensions and output.
Replace existing duct work with new duct work in attic do to water intrusion from slab per code.
Reconnect electrical and gas piping as required per code.
