Scope of Work
The City of Taylor is accepting proposals from qualified contractors to removal of painting and installing wall
coverings at Taylor City Hall located at, 23555 Goddard Rd Taylor, MI, 48180, Westmound Church located at
12415 Pardee Rd Taylor MI 48180 and Taylor Senior Center at 6750 Troy St Taylor MI 48180. Some work will
have to be completed on Saturdays and Sundays. These locations will be provided at the pre-bid meeting on Thursday, September 20, 2018 @ 2:00 PM. A specification of product is listed below.
City Hall
Remove existing wall coverings and give two options. Option 1 new wall coverings and option 2 paint existing surface. After removal of existing wall coverings walls must be repair if needed and prep for new covering. Option 2 wall must be prep with sealer, skim coat, primer and then finished with two coats of finish paint.
West-Mound Church
Remove all mold, loose paint chips & debris from building exterior and interior. Caulk as needed exterior and interior. As needed replace loose and rotted wood exterior and repair interior drywall. Spot prime as needed and then finished with two coats of finish paint.
Senior Center
Remove all mold, loose paint chips & debris from building interior. Caulk as needed interior. Repair interior drywall and spot prime as needed and then finished with two coats of finish paint.
