RFP-RM-11-14-2016-001 - City of Taylor Emergency Towing

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Taylor (“City”) invites the submission of proposals for an experienced company to manage all aspects of vehicle towing dispatching, storage and disposal for the City of Taylor. The intent of the RFP is to identify qualified companies to provide complete management of towing, storage and auction services (as described in greater detail below). The objective of this “RFP” is to consider awarding a contract or contracts to ensure prompt, adequate, service with reasonable and uniform cost for towing and storage for the public when requested by The City of Taylor Police Department, and to provide periodic auctions to dispose of abandoned, other unclaimed vehicles, and City-owned vehicles. The city is not obligated to award a contract if it so chooses. The City of Taylor reserves the right to negotiate a final contract with the most qualified firms based upon a combination of factors including but not limited to the following qualifications stated within the RFP.
