The City of Taylor Central Purchasing Division is requesting proposals on behalf of the City Clerk’s Office for 1) approximately 50,000 election ballots for the August Primary Election (if necessary), and the November General Election 2) the folding of 14,000 absentee ballots, as specified below.

Project Description:
Election ballots with the following criteria:
- Ballot size to be determined at a later date, must have 1” at the top or a 2” ballot stub at the bottom
- Print on one side of the ballot
- Ballots must be printed according to the State of Michigan Ballot production standards and strictly adhere to the specifications as provided by the voting equipment manufacturer
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- There are 11 consolidated precincts
- Each precinct will start with 001
- A display or sample ballot for each precinct will be needed, 25 per precinct
- 50 test ballots will be needed for each precinct
- Ballots will be shrink wrapped in packs of 100 and boxed by precinct
- There is not a maximum number of ballots that can be in each box
- Language to be printed on ballots will be provided when available
- Sample of ballot to be used must be provided prior to full printing
Please note that the quantity requested is an estimate; the City of Taylor holds the right to change the total quantity purchased for any reason, resulting in a significantly lower order than 50,000 ballots.
The City does not guarantee use for any of the elections, prices must be guaranteed for 2021.
