Summary of Specifications:
The City of Taylor is soliciting quote for Rotary Park painting funded through Community Development Block Grant. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards and is a Davis Bacon Project. Please see the Davis Bacon wage determination below. Eight light poles needed to be cleaned of rust, loose debris, and old paint. Spot primer will be applied as well as two coats of oil based paint on all eight lights poles located in the parking lot. · The exterior of the storage building will be power washed, caulked as needed on the building’s trim, soffit, and doors. Two coats of wood stain/paint will be applied to the exterior wood areas. Also being power washed will be the doors and small garage door including two coats of industrial exterior oil based enamel to the existing color. · At the cell phone tower, the wood fence will be power washed to remove loose paint chips, rust, debris, and foreign substances. A solid color wood stain is to be applied after cleaning. · Yellow poles in the field of Rotary Park need to be cleaned, primed and finished with two coats of yellow paint. Also at the baseball field, the scoreboards will be power washed and brushed clean from debris and painted to match existing. The lettering on the scoreboard could either be painted or replaced with new diecuts vinyl to match the existing ones. · Each roof on the backstops will be power washed and painted to match their existing color. · Playscape at Rotary Park will be power washed and scraped of debris. Paint will be applies to playscape after cleaning and must be specified to be used on substrate materials. Please provide product information at the time quotes are due.
