IFB-RM-2020-09-23-001 - Taylor Sportsplex LED Message Board Upgrade

Scope of Work
The City of Taylor is accepting proposals from qualified contractors to upgrade existing signs at Taylor Sportsplex. Permit shall be pulled at the Building Department for no cost.

Message Center

Telegraph Road Dual sided LED signage shall be Daktronics GS6-100x350-15.85-RGB-2V to match existing message center size 15.85mm Pitch and contains an 100px X 350px matrix (35,000pixels). Software shall be Venus Control Suite cloud-ware that will work in the City of Taylor virtual network. Communication will be on the City’s Verizon data. Proposals shall include in the following: product specifications on LED Boards, information on programming software, mockup of signs with dimensions. An electrician must do all electrical work.

Superior Road Dual sided LED signage shall be Daktronics GT6x-72x252-10-RGB-2V to match existing message center size 10mm Pitch and contains an 72px X 252px matrix (18,144pixels). New LED Signage will extend downwards and replacement static information below current message center. Software shall be Venus Control Suite cloud-ware that will work in the City of Taylor virtual network. Communication will be on the City’s Verizon data. Proposals shall include in the following: product specifications on LED Boards, information on programming software, mockup of signs with dimensions. An electrician must do all electrical work.

Current LED Message Centers

The City of Taylor will be accepting fair market trade in on existing signs. If the City of Taylor does not accept the trade in amount the message centers will be kept by the City of Taylor for a future project.
