Summary of Specifications:
FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT TO REMOVE AND INSTALL NEW FENCING FOR THE CITY OF TROY BEAVER TRAIL PARK DETENTION BASIN in accordance with the specifications. Bidders should examine the site to determine the amount of work to be done in accordance with the specifications. If a bidder does not make a site inspection, that bidder accepts full responsibility and risk for any errors or omissions in his/her bid proposal. Contact Mr. Kurt Bovensiep at (248) 524-3489 to arrange a site visit between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Work shall commence upon notice to proceed and be completed by August 31, 2012. A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The three lowest bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The bid deposit of the successful bidder will be retained as performance surety until successful completion and acceptance of all contract requirements. The bid surety will be forfeited, if acceptable insurance is not received in accordance with specifications. All other bidders will have their bid deposits returned after the bid has been opened for at least 72 hours.
