Sealed bid proposals for the CITY OF TROY HISTORIC VILLAGE BOILER REPLACEMENT will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 until THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2013, at 10:00 AM EDT, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Troy City Offices. ********************************************************** MANDATORY SITE INSPECTION: All bidders are required to examine the site to determine the amount of work to be done in accordance with the bid specifications by attending the Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting scheduled for WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM EDT LOCATED AT TROY HISTORIC VILLAGE, 60 WEST WATTLES ROAD, TROY, MI 48084, in the PIONEER ROOM. An opportunity to inspect the boiler and the site will be provided during the Pre-bid Meeting. This will be the only opportunity bidders will have to examine the site.
********************************************************** A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $3,000.00 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The successful bidder of this project will have their bid surety returned upon submission of the specified acceptable Performance, Labor and Materials Payment, and two-year Maintenance Bonds, and Insurance Certificate in accordance with bid specifications. All other bidders will have their bid deposits returned after the bid has been opened at least 72 hours.
