Summary of Specifications:
The City of Troy is soliciting sealed bid proposals to provide THREE-YEAR REQUIREMENTS OF COMPLETE BUS TRANSPORATION SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF TROY RECREATION DEPARTMENT SUMMER AND WINTER PROGRAMS WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL YEARS in accordance with the attached specifications. Hourly rates for buses shall include all related costs such as fuel, insurance, drivers, travel time, and all related expenses. The City will pay straight rates only. Any premium for overtime, Sundays or Holidays are the responsibility of the bidder (contractor). Hourly rates apply to actual hours of operation. The contractor will be paid only for services rendered as specified. If your bid proposal is based upon “one lot pricing”, and is not to be broken up by proposal, please indicate this under the Exceptions section, page 5 of 5 of the bid documents. A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $1,500.00 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The bid deposit of the successful bidder(s) will be retained as performance surety until successful completion of all the contract requirements.
