Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid proposals to provide TWO (2) YEAR REQUIREMENTS OF JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CITY LOCATIONS WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL YEARS will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084.
A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount indicated for the site group(s) listed on the Bid Surety Chart (Bid Proposal, page 4 of 9) must accompany the bid to insure the bid. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The successful bidder(s) will have the option to permit the City to hold the designated bid surety as a performance guarantee for the site(s) awarded or have the surety returned upon submission of the specified, acceptable Performance Bond in accordance with specifications.
A Janitorial Bond in the amount of $10,000.00 is required which will be given to the City of Troy. Any costs incurred securing this bond are the responsibility of the successful bidder.
All bidders should examine the sites to determine the amount of work to be done in connection with the projects specified. If the bidder does not make a site inspection, that bidder accepts full responsibility and risk for any errors or omissions in his/her bid proposal.
Visits will be conducted at 9 am on Wednesday, July 25th and Tuesday, July 31st. All bidders wishing to be included should call in by 2 pm on the day preceding the site visit to register to attend.
