ITB-COT 17-10 - Pre-Qualification - Natural Gas Suppliers

Summary of Specifications:
The City is re-issuing the Request to Pre-Qualify Natural Suppliers for the following reasons: 1.) to extend the due date; and 2.) to clarify Request for Natural Gas rate term. Requests for rates will be for 12, 24 AND 36 months. 

It's the intent to make a recommendation to City Council at the March 6, 2017 City Council Meeting for the approval of the Qualified Natural Gas Suppliers Pool for the City of Troy for a time period of three (3) years, qualification time period to expire March 31, 2020 and to also seek the authority to lock into a firm fixed rate. 

After Troy City Council has approved the recommended Pre-Qualified Natural Gas Supplier Pool the City of Troy Purchasing Department will issue REQUESTS FOR QUOTES TO APPROVED PRE-QUALIFIED NATURAL GAS SUPPLIERS for a fixed Mcf rate for Natural Gas for a term of 12, 24 or 36 months; whichever is most advantageous and in the best interest of the City of Troy.
