Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid proposals for a ROOF REPLACEMENT OF FIRE STATION #5 LOCATED AT 6399 JOHN R ROAD, TROY, MI 48085 will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Fire Station #5, 6399 John R Road Troy, MI 48085. Roof will be available for inspection during this meeting.
A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $4,500.00 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. The two lowest unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.

All work on this project shall be completed by NOVEMBER 15, 2007.
A SAMPLE KIT OF THE ROOF MATERIAL SHOULD BE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF BID SUBMISSION. THE LOWEST ACCEPTABLE BIDDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE SAMPLE PRIOR TO AWARD. (No large samples or rolls will be accepted.)
