ITB-COT 15-33 - Street Trees

Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bid proposals for the PURCHASE AND PLANTING OF AN ESTIMATED 200 BALLED AND BURLAP OR CONTAINER GROWN TREES will be received by the City of Troy at the office of the City Clerk, 500 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 until THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Troy City Clerk’s Office. Late bid submittals will not be accepted. Bid responses are not accepted via fax transmission. 

A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $4,500.00 must accompany the bid to insure the bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their bid surety returned after the bid award. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. Upon award to the successful bidder, the bid deposit will be retained as a performance surety until successful completion of all contract requirements. The surety will remain on deposit for a period of two (2) years or until all necessary tree replacements have been accepted.
