Summary of Specifications:
The sealed bid proposals will be for the Renovation of six (6) bathrooms located in the Troy Public Library. Specifications are listed in the bid proposal form on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Materials and equipment are to be FOB delivered inside, freight paid to the work site once the project is to commence – Troy Public Library, 510 W. Big Beaver Road, Troy MI 48084, Attn: Steve Pallotta.
All bidders are required to examine the site to determine the amount of work to be done in connection with the work specified by attending the MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING scheduled for MONDAY, MAY 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Troy Public Library, 510 W. Big Beaver Road Troy, MI 48084. An opportunity to inspect the site will be available during the Pre-bid Meeting. If the bidder does not attend the pre-bid meeting that bidder will be considered non-responsive and no longer eligible for award.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a specified acceptable Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and an executed two (2) year Maintenance Bond in accordance with specifications.

A cashier’s check, certified check, or money order for 5% of the bid amount must accompany the bid to insure the bid. BID BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
