Base Bid
Construction of a 6-foot diameter lift station with duplex submersible pumps, 6-foot diameter valve
vault with emergency pumping capability, and connection to the existing lift station influent manhole
and all other equipment required for proper operation. Existing steel can lift station structure to be
demolished and abandoned in place. New electrical equipment including control panels, level sensors
and related equipment to be provided with renovations.
Alternate #1
Rehabilitation of the dry pit sanitary pump station. Work is noted as “Alternate #1” on the Drawings
and bid form. Work included and required is included but not limited to demolition of the existing
pumping equipment and other equipment within the existing dry pit as shown on the demolition
drawings, installation of new pumping equipment, valves, piping, pipe fittings, ventilation blowers, level
transducers, electrical panels and wiring/conduit, control panels mounted on a new equipment rack with
concrete foundation, new DTE electric meters, generator transfer receptacles, power distribution
cabinets, manual transfer switches, and main service disconnect switches, new sump pump, piping &
valves, new lighting, and new epoxy floor coating.
