Description

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Warren uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds to offer rehabilitation loans to low/moderate income owner occupants of single-family homes and to rehabilitate and sell single-family homes to eligible homebuyers. If the home to be rehabilitated was built before 1978, lead-based paint hazards must be addressed as part of the rehabilitation work. At this time, written bids to perform combination lead-based paint hazard risk assessment – lead-based paint inspections at approximately thirty (30) single-family homes in the City of Warren, Michigan are being accepted. It is anticipated that approximately 75%, or twenty-two (22) of the thirty (30) homes will need clearance examinations. Each clearance examination will be requested separately by the City.
The City is only accepting electronic bids submitted via the BidNet (MITN) system in order to be considered for award.
