Summary of Specifications:
The successful contractor will furnish necessary labor, equipment, and materials for extermination, control and prevention of pests, including but not limited to the following: rats, mice, roaches, fleas, lice, flies, ants, bees of all varieties, yellow jackets, inside and outside facilities. • The Vendor shall furnish all chemicals, rodenticides, insecticides, equipment, and labor. • The agreement does not include treatment of trees, lawns, or shrubs. • Migrating insects will be eradicated as needed. • The Vendor will provide control or removal of snakes, birds, or bats as required. • No pesticide will be used in the performance of this agreement unless it will be used in strict conformance with the manufacturer’s instructions as they appear on the label and as approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Except when in the hands of the Vendor or his employees, no pesticide shall be left unattended or not under lock and key. No pesticide will be stored on the premises of any City locations where work is being performed. Vendor shall furnish formulas and antidotes covering chemicals and pesticides to be used under this contract. Material safety data sheets (MSDS) shall be supplied to the Purchasing Office for all chemicals applied under these specifications. All chemicals and pesticides must comply with requirements of all federal, state, and local ordinances and laws.
