Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of placing a 2 – foot wide butt joint along the centerline of the road and at the beginning point and ending point of the paving operations. Also, the installation of 7,125 SYD of 2” thick asphalt overlay with an additional 585 SYD of 2” thick overlay along the existing shoulder. The pavement at the Hall Road intersection and at each drive approach along the work area shall be tapered to zero or as directed. It is anticipated that the Woodhaven City Council will award the project the evening of November 1, 2016 at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. Start date, weather permitting, is as soon as possible by the contractor.
