ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID 2014 Road Repairs City of Ypsilanti April 30, 2014 Sealed Bids for 2014 Road Repairs will be received at the office of the City of Ypsilanti until 2:00 PM local time, on May 12, 2014, by the office of the City Clerk located at One Huron Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows: Cold mill and pave approximately 2,000 SY of pavement; 9,500 SY of wedge and overlay of existing roadways; and 350 SY of concrete road repair. The Contract Documents for this project are on file and may be examined on and after 12:00 PM, April 30, 2014, at the following locations: the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150 and City of Ypsilanti, One Huron Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 PM, local time, April 30, 2014, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of Forty dollars ($40.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of Ten dollars ($10.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents that are mailed. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
