ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Prospect - Grove to Michigan City of Ypsilanti August 4, 2014 Sealed Bids for Prospect - Grove to Michigan will be received at the office of the City of Ypsilanti until 2:00 PM local time, on August 21, 2014, by the office of the City Clerk located at One South Huron, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows: Cold Mill HMA Surface 1100 syd HMA Resurfacing 2000 ton Localized Base Repairs 900 cyd The Contract Documents for this project are on file and may be examined on and after 2:00 PM, August 4, 2014, at the following locations: the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150; area offices of McGraw-Hill Construction/ReproMAX, 36060 Industrial Road, Livonia, MI 48150; Reed Construction Data at www.reedepr.com; the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), 43636 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204; and City of Ypsilanti, One South Huron, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 PM, local time, August 4, 2014, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of Fifty-five dollars ($55.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of Fifteen dollars ($15.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents that are mailed. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
