The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows: Approximately 5,000 square feet of sidewalk and sidewalk ramps along with associated items The Contract Documents for this project are on file and may be examined on and after 2:00 PM, May 12, 2014, at the following locations: the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz, & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150; area offices of McGraw-Hill Construction/ReproMAX, 36060 Industrial Road, Livonia, MI 48150; Reed Construction Data at www.reedepr.com; the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), 43636 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204; and City of Ypsilanti, One South Huron St., Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 PM, local time, May 12, 2014, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of Forty dollars ($40.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of Ten dollars ($10.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents that are mailed. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
