INVITATION TO BID Project: Solid Waste Collection City of Ypsilanti—Department of Public Services 14 W. Forest Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197 Proposal: 5 year proposal, 3 year proposal (required) Three alternative proposals Due Date: Bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 1 South Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014. Description of Project: The City of Ypsilanti is seeking a qualified municipal solid waste hauler. The City will choose one hauler to provide for the collection of solid waste from all residential properties (excluding yard waste) up to three units, municipally utilized dumpsters, a few small commercial pick-ups, and all other residential properties larger than three units that abide by the bag limits and terms delineated in the RFP. Three alternative proposals may also be submitted that include: 1) Street cans, 2) Roll-offs w/ Brown Waste and 3) On-Call Pick Ups Right to Reject: The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and to accept or reject any or all proposals.
