INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals will be received for addition and renovation of Beaverton City Hall.
Heath Kaplan, City Manager, and will be received until 1:00 p.m. local time on Friday, February 15,
2019, at the current City Hall building, located at 124 W. Brown St, Beaverton, MI 48612.
Bids will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. in Chamber Room.
A single, combined proposal will be received for all the work of the trades.
A bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or surety company bond in an
amount of at least 5% of the total bid payable to the Owner, must accompany the proposal as
security for the acceptance and execution of the contract.
A performance bond and labor and material payment bonds, as described in the Instructions to
Bidders, are required in the amounts as detailed in Section 00610 – Performance Bond. Labor and
Material Bond.
Bid documents will be available for purchase the morning of January 21, 2019. General Contractors
shall obtain a complete set of bidding documents (drawings/specifications) by requesting and paying
for a set through Sign Pal, Tom Zobka, at tomz@signpalmi.com or (989) 755-7773. Subcontractors,
suppliers, and vendors may purchase sets (full or partial) through the same contact. A set of
bidding documents will be on TSSF’s Drop Box. General Contractors shall notify Josh McGowan, via
e-mail at josh@tssfinc.com, to obtain access. Addendums (if any) will be added to the Drop Box.
