RFB-0000000006 - Alley Repave - Wabash to Henry

The City of Belleville is seeking a licensed contractor to pave the alley located between Wabash and Henry Street. The alley is approximately 302 feet in length.
 

1. Contractor to meet on site with customer to determine a phasing plan and a staging area for construction equipment.
2. Supply and set up proper barricades following the best practices and industry guidelines for this project.
3. Cut and grade existing stone base in work area for a smooth transition with existing structures prior to the overlay.
4. Address edges as needed to prevent breaking/wearing
5. Level existing stone in depressed areas as needed.
6. Fine Grade and Compact.
7. Thoroughly clean the area as needed. 
8. Tack areas with a DOT approved primer tack coat as needed. 
9. Install 3.0” (4EL) hot plant mixed asphalt. Per Specs Provided. Up to 100 Tons 
10. Newly installed asphalt will receive proper compaction using a 3-5-ton steel drum roller. (After compaction new asphalt depth will total 3.0") 
11. Haul and dispose of any job-related debris in an approved environmentally friendly dumping facility
