Description

MDOT’s Local Agency Program (LAP). The project limits are Saginaw Street from Court Street to Flint River Bridge. The project is an MDOT 3R roadway reconstruction project including removing and storing Historical Bricks, determining which bricks are salvageable, rebuilding subbase, determining correct coloring and stamp size and pattern for concrete intersections, replacing curb and sidewalks, ADA sidewalk ramps, and storm catch basin and storm sewer replacement. The project is planned for September 2022 starting construction for 52 weeks with shut down between the end of November to April depending on weather and pausing in August through the weekend after Labor Day for major downtown events.
